Chitrakoot is one of the most revered pilgrimage destinations in India, located on the border of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Deeply connected with the epic Ramayana, this holy town is believed to be the place where Lord Rama, Goddess Sita, and Lakshman spent a significant part of their 14-year exile. Ram Ghat, situated on the banks of the Mandakini River, is the most sacred and vibrant spot in Chitrakoot. Devotees gather here for holy baths and evening aarti. The sight of lamps floating on the river during sunset creates a divine and calming atmosphere. It is believed that Lord Rama used to bathe at this very ghat during his exile.
